Greetings, Warriors! ⚔️

As promised, we are beginning to publish our developer blog where we summarize the latest game updates. This will be a series of posts, each released every few weeks or months, to keep you informed about new features and development progress.

Below, you will find the blogpost #1 for the patch v0.0.25 (July 2024)!

Major game updates

  1. Closed testnet client has been successfully integrated with Berachain testnet v2 and we are planning to open it to selected partners and public via invites
  2. NFT heroes from testnet v1 can now be bridged to v2 and be used as in-game characters for your party
  3. Added in-game market for heroes and items with its own interface on both WebGgL and Desktop versions
  4. All items that are looted in combat can now be minted in the inventory as NFTs and traded on the in-game market (see above)
  5. Overall, your party must be comprised only of NFT heroes and NFT items or only non-NFT versions of both
Trading Hero and gear NFTs is now available on the freshly added in-game market

Further game updates

  2. Reduced item loading time in the battle results window

Battle Interface Improvements:

  1. Reworked target selection in battles: to avoid overlapping, units are now selected only via battlefield hex grid, and not the 3D model itself
  2. Cleric can now heal himself
  3. Added proper cursor behavior for priests targeting themselves and others
  4. Removed health bar flickering if the attacker has no action points left
  5. Potential damage bar flickering is now disabled after changing battle states
  6. Added color differentiation between potential damage and healing
  7. Added proper orientation of the potential healing bar for priests
  8. Added limit to the possible size of the potential damage bar when calculating damage

That is it for now — stay vigilant for further updates, warriors!
